Our client based in Deeside is currently recruiting for Purchasing Administrator on a full time, permanent basis.As the Purchasing Administrator you will be responsible providing administrative support to the procurement team.Your role involves maintaining records, processing purchase orders, and coordinating communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of procurement activities.
Performance Objectives
·Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring alignment and procurement requests.
·Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing necessary documentation.
·Maintain organised and up to date records of purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement related documents.
·Update and manage supplier databases, ensuring accurate and current information for effective supplier relationship management.
·Collaborate with the finance department to verify and process supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies as needed.
·Organise and maintain a systematic filing system for procurement documents, making retrieval efficient for audit purposes.
·Assist in tracking and evaluating supplier performance, providing feedback to the procurement team as needed.
·Collaborate with inventory control teams to reconcile purchase orders, deliveries and stock levels as required.
·Assist in the preparation of expense reports related to purchasing activities, supporting financial reporting requirements.
·Collaborate with various departments to coordinate and support overall procurement functions.
Person Specification
·Prior experience in administration roles, preferably in purchasing, procurement or a related function.
·High school diploma or equivalent required.
·Attention to detail.
·Communication skills.
·Organisational skills.
·Computer proficiency.
·Problem solving.
·Team collaboration.
·Customer service orientated.
