Opportunity
Turner & Townsend’s Natural Resources business has grown 35% in the last 9 months and is set to triple in size over the next 3 years. We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Manager to join our fast‑growing Natural Resources and New Energies team, undertaking Controls & Performance duties on several high‑profile Projects/Programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning, designing and implementing risk management processes tailored to the client’s needs and best practice.
* Facilitating risk workshops with subject matter experts.
* Creating and maintaining risk registers and other risk-related information.
* Challenging risk information to enhance quality and robustness.
* Driving implementation of mitigation actions across projects and programmes.
* Assisting the project team with identification and development of measurable, specific management responses.
* Conducting Quantitative Risk Assessment and analysis (QRA) for cost and schedule impacts.
* Producing timely risk reports using Microsoft Office and Power BI.
* Co‑ordinating with Project Controls disciplines to maintain alignment of project information.
* Working with supply chain to incorporate associated risks.

* Possession of a UK driving licence or willingness to travel to client sites in the region.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience managing risk in multiple projects/programmes or a similar risk role.
* Familiarity with at least one risk standard/approach (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA).
* Familiarity with at least one risk tool.
* Awareness of Quantitative Risk Assessment (Monte‑Carlo) technique.
* Understanding of how Project Controls elements (Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control) interact with Risk Management (desirable).
* A risk qualification such as APM Risk Certificate Level 2 or Management of Risk (MoR) (desirable).
* Familiarity with NEC contracts.
