Responsibilities
* Prepare papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings.
* Create and update records on the in‑house computer system and input data.
* Report court results accurately, interpreting the information required on a court file.
* Check and verify documents, records, accounts, claims and returns for approval, results, statistics, plans etc. against criteria, regulations or procedures.
* Collect and assemble information for returns, results, accounts, statements, warrants, statistical analysis and reports.
* Communicate with the public, the judiciary, other court and tribunal users and representatives of other agencies and organisations.
Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes
We seek candidates who are friendly, approachable, with excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to deliver proactive and effective support to customers by phone and email. Candidates should be able to organise their time, prioritise efficiently, multi‑task and adapt to using various software packages. They should enjoy working in a busy environment and help court users navigate the justice system.
Working Hours and Patterns
Standard full‑time working hours are 37 hours per week. The role is office based but supports part‑time, flexible and job‑sharing working patterns where they can meet the demands of the role. A minimum of 22.2 hours per week, worked over three days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) is required for part‑time appointments.

Hybrid working arrangements are available but applicants must spend a minimum of 60 % of their working time in an office. For nationally advertised roles, successful candidates will be appointed to the nearest viable office near their home postcode.
