Finance & Stock Control Admin Assistant
Pelltech Limited, based in Witney, Oxfordshire was established in 1973 as a specialist in Office Products. In recent year's the Company has widened its' product range to include office and shop-fitting products, modular furniture and display equipment, filing pockets, signage and presentation systems, and drawings storage racks. A significant number of products come from affiliated companies in Denmark, Spain and France, sitting alongside imports from Australasia, Portugal, Germany and the U.S.A.
We are now seeking maternity cover to fill a Finance & Stock control Admin Assistant position, the successful applicant will assist with finance and stock control Administration. Working as part of or professional, friendly team. This role is office based.
Key Duties: Admin – Stock Control
Ø Place prepared purchase orders with suppliers, control documentation and maintain supply traceability
Ø Maintain Deliveries due spreadsheet, progressing deliveries
Ø Maintain and issue expenditure forecast
Ø Maintain existing products database
Ø Create new product records and establish a trade price at set up
Ø Maintain supplier source details
Ø Maintain the cost price database for products
Ø Maintain Customer Price files on SAP
Key Duties: Finance - Purchase Ledger
Ø Enter Stock invoices
Ø Enter purchase ledger invoices updating the relevant spreadsheets with expenditures
Ø Cash posting of payments to supplier / customer accounts
Ø Supplier monthly statement reconciliations.
Responsible to
· Finance / Administration Manager
Essential Criteria
· Microsoft Excel
· Professional, organised and resourceful with excellent attention to detail essential
Skills Required:
· Ability to work on your own and part of a team
· Be accurate with excellent numeracy and literacy
· A strong communicator
· Knowledge of Accounting
· Experience with SAP would be an advantage
