Applications are invited from qualitative researchers with a PhD (or close to completion) for the position of Research Associate/Fellow within the School of Health Sciences. You will be part of a friendly and highly experienced team undertaking a qualitative research and educational development project funded by the Burdett Trust for Nursing, Women’s Health Grant Programme. The project seeks to provide evidence and an educational resource to support the equitable implementation of patient-facing electronic records (patient portal systems) in UK maternity care.
You will have an excellent academic track record and will be confident and competent in undertaking qualitative health research. With support, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the project, working in an autonomous and highly organised manner, and will have excellent data management and analysis skills. In addition, you will be skilled at working effectively within multi-disciplinary and multi-professional teams. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills as we will be adopting a range of knowledge translation approaches within the project.
You will be an active member of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences’ Centre for Evidence Based Healthcare and the School of Health Sciences’ Child and Maternal Health Research Group, both of which offer excellent opportunities for capacity and career development.
