Our client, a distinguished solicitors' practice in North West London is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant or a motivated law graduate. This proactive individual will support the Commercial Conveyancing team, working alongside a senior solicitor on high-value transactions.
This role offers ample scope for professional development and training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drafting basic licenses and ancillary legal documents
• Preparing and submitting SDLT forms and Land Registry applications
• Coordinating property searches and documentation
• Keeping case files and systems up to date and compliant
• Managing pre- and post-completion tasks
• Liaising with clients, solicitors and lenders
Key Requirements:
• A law degree (essential)
• Minimum 1 year of conveyancing experience (further training will be provided)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and legal software applications
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication
• Motivated and dependable team player
• Eager to learn and grow professionally within the role
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
