About the Role Reporting to the European Sales Manager the role is responsible for quotations of new business with internal and external customers including, tracking, follow up, data and new order entry and reporting of open quotes. This is a highly administrative role that involves attainment of new business and customer service with existing customer. In addition, the role will involve administrative support to product management department and product portfolio, product pricing and demand planning. Responsibilities Generation of daily quotations with external customers in line with targets (TOC) Checking compliance of customer Purchase Orders and their entry into SAP for contract review. Support administration and internal distribution of departmental daily and weekly metrics, including daily targets, (TOC), pipelines, quotations v’s orders etc. Will update live quote register on a daily basis with customer updates. Will liaise with Operations, Finance, Sales and Finance departments to gather input for administrative tasks to support product management department (pricing and product portfolio department) including updating demand planning file in excel. To amend and administrate annual pricing agreements and TIMET price lists across Europe for TIMET UK and Timet France (Savoie) To liaise with Operations, Finance and commercial on cost saving initiatives that Impact product pricing Work with external customer and internal finance to ensure payments are processed in line with due dates. Follow up with customer as required and report out results. Work closely with external sales and planning to ensure understand material inventory and manufacturing availability and lead times. Will provide regular and timely customer interface via teams, phone calls and emails. Attend meetings to provide data to support inventory management and inventory burndown. Qualifications Will possess strong computer skills, including Excel and all MS Office applications. SAP experience is advantageous, however fully training will be provided. Will possess strong administration skills. French speaking and German is advantageous Required Skills Have experience in a customer facing or sales quoting type role. Will have experience of handling multiple tasks concurrently and work effectively in a fast paced environment. Will have high attention to detail to be able to translate customer requirements into relatively complex order instructions for the manufacturing plant. Will be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively organise and track open quotes, including direct customer call back and gathering relevant feedback on quotations. Preferred Skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to include using the telephone, emails at a professional level with external customers. Resilience and tenacity to thrive in a sales environment where achievement of daily results is expected. Develops strong internal and external networking relationships. Approachable-personable manner. Highly organized and structured approach to manage workload. Ability to self-manage, work on own initiative under minimum/no supervision. Effectively prioritizes own workload and keeps track of all open work items. Honesty and integrity as key value. Able to evidence having dealt with confidential and sensitive issues. High level of professional and personal motivation.
