About The Role
Washroom Janitor
Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Job Description
* Clean and sanitise toilets, urinals, sinks, shower units and floors.
* Disinfect and polish all sanitary fittings to include toilet bowls, seats, cisterns, urinals inside and out.
* Clean, sanitise and polish sinks, all taps, exposed pipes, overflows and sink drainers.
* Sanitise toilet doors, wall, partitions and mirrors.
* Wipe and sanitise all horizontal surfaces leaving free of dust.
* Wipe clean outside of sanitary and waste bins. Report any broken units.
* Refill soap dispensers, toilet tissue and paper towels, as necessary.
* Sweep and mop floors with appropriate cleaning solutions.
* Follow a rotation schedule to ensure all designated washrooms are serviced at least 4 times daily.
* Use appropriate cleaning products and PPE according to COSHH requirements.
* Report any damages, leaks or required maintenance to the Facilities Department.
