About the Role:
As Senior Project Manager, you'll be at the helm of key engineering projects-overseeing everything from initial design through to commissioning. You'll play a strategic role in managing budgets, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the full life cycle of multiple engineering projects, from planning through to final commissioning
* Manage project budgets and ensure capital spend is aligned with company objectives
* Coordinate and lead internal teams and external contractors across engineering disciplines
* Act as the technical lead, particularly in water-related infrastructure projects
* Ensure adherence to technical specifications, project deliverables, and client expectations
* Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery
* Represent the company during site visits, contract negotiations, and progress meetings
* Work closely with the SHEQ team to maintain high safety and compliance standards
* Prepare and enforce risk assessments, method statements, and other H&S documentation
What You'll Bring:
* Degree or qualification in Engineering or a related field
* Proven track record managing complex, multi-discipline projects to successful outcomes
* Familiarity with H&S legislation, risk assessments, and HAZOP procedures
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify project opportunities
* Comfortable working independently and on-site across remote locations
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
* Knowledge of water infrastructure project delivery or upgrade programmes
* Experience within the water or waste water treatment sector
