Do you have a background in transport and logistics where you have led a team of frontline staff along with supervisory staff?
This role, based across hospitals in Gloucester and Cheltenham, needs a forward-thinking candidate to ensure the delivery of services which are paramount to keeping the hospital operational.
You will be responsible for:
* Lead and manage the safe and efficient delivery of Logistics Services including materials management, linen and laundry, waste, and transport/postal services.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards including health and safety, environmental regulations, and contractual obligations.
* Monitor service performance and ensure delivery meets agreed KPIs and quality standards.
* Lead and manage service improvements and change initiatives across all functions.
* Oversee the implementation and regular review of robust business continuity plans.
* Monitor supplier and contractor performance, resolving issues or escalating concerns where appropriate.
You will need to have experience in a senior leadership role within a transport and logistics environment to be considered for the position.
