In this position, you will oversee the complete production process - planning, managing, and controlling operations to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and the highest standards of quality.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in production within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating strong leadership and operational expertise.
Role responsibilities of the Production Manager include:
1. Developing, implementing and managing production plans and schedules to meet business objectives.
2. Overseeing production budgets, product costing and estimating processes in line with business requirements.
3. Leading, training and developing production staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
4. Monitoring production processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficiency improvements.
5. Managing the allocation of resourcing including staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Person Specification of the Production Manager:
6. Prior hands-on experience in a production role within a manufacturing setting, working with raw materials such as wood, metals, and other materials.
7. Demonstrated success in team management and proven leadership capabilities.
8. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
9. Proficiency in ERP systems or production management software.
