About the Job
In the role of HR Business Partner, you will offer both strategic and operational support in human resources to designated business areas. Collaborating with senior leadership and management, you will develop and implement effective HR solutions that are aligned to the IB's strategic goals and objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-calibre, professional HR service that improves the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive the people agenda to support your business areas deliver their strategy.
2. Provide guidance and coaching on people practices such as talent management and development, performance management, employee engagement, restructures and diversity and inclusion.
3. Use data, metrics, and evidence to inform and drive decision making and continuous improvement across your business areas.
4. Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a high-quality and professional HR service.
5. In conjunction with managers, resolve employee relations issues, such as grievances, disciplinaries, performance and conduct consultations.
6. Conduct investigations, hearings, and appeals as required and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
7. Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for your business areas.
8. Liaise and collaborate with the trade union and the employee forum as appropriate.
9. Advise and coach managers and employees on the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
About You
10. A degree in a related field or equivalent experience, CIPD Level 5 is desirable.
11. Demonstrable experience in managing and resolving employee relations issues, examples include: capability, disciplinary, grievances, absence management, restructures, flexible working requests, appeals.
12. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest HR trends, best practices and legal developments.
13. Flexible and agile to accommodate changing business needs.
14. A proactive, detailed and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
15. Proven skills in negotiation, coaching, and influencing.
16. Customer focus and service delivery mentality, with ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
17. Excellent communication, analytical & listening skills.
18. Ability to lead and manage HR projects and change initiatives.
