About the Role
We are expanding our Maintenance Officer team to ensure high-quality service across our Oxford key worker and student sites.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Carrying out compliance checks (meter readings, flushing void properties, minor repairs)
2. Completing small repairs (typically 15 minutes or less) across key worker and student accommodation
3. Moving items across sites as needed, supporting property managers
4. Ensuring all compliance requirements for key worker and student properties are met
5. Providing excellent customer care and maintaining high standards of service
Role Criteria
Must Have:
6. Prior experience as a handyperson or site maintenance officer
7. Experience with basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and general repairs
8. Previous work in social housing (essential)
9. Full UK driving licence (no more than 9 points)
10. Ability to bring own tools (company van and uniform provided)
11. Good physical health and fitness
12. Flexibility and a proactive mindset
Desirable:
13. Experience with compliance checks (e.g., water meter readings, flushing void properties, electric meter checks)
