Description
Salary £31,000 per year (negotiable for outstanding candidates) plus 34 days leave (pro rata) and health cash plan
Temporary for 12 months
Full time (37.5 hpw), we’ll consider part time/job share too

What you’ll do
1. Develop policies that are clear, compliant and meet business needs and regulatory standards
2. Work with leaders to prepare our organisation and colleagues to be ready for policy changes
3. Design consultation events and gather feedback from colleagues and customers
4. Create resources that help teams understand and apply policy
5. Scan the horizon for new legislation and best practice to keep us ahead

You have
6. Experience developing organisational wide policies with a keen eye always on the detail
7. Strong knowledge of social housing regulation and legislation
8. Excellent writing and communication skills, able to turn complex regulations into clear, accessible policies
9. Can confidently design and run consultation events with customers and colleagues
10. Proven track record of building positive relationships and working collaboratively across teams
The practical bits
11. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.Hours of work are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, with flexibility built in
12. We’ll consider applications for part-time working or job share
13. You’ll be part of our national team, with flexibility to work from one of our national Home Group offices (near where you are based) two days a week and the rest from home.
14. There will be occasional travel and overnight stays to work with our team based across the UK
