Cover Supervisor
Location: St Helens Secondary Schools | Full-Time or Part-Time
We are recruiting on behalf of respected secondary schools across St Helens for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with UK-based school or youth activity experience to support students’ learning, gain valuable classroom exposure, and join supportive and welcoming school communities.

The Role
* Supervise lessons across a variety of subjects using pre-prepared materials
* Keep students focused, engaged, and on task during teacher absence
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Provide clear and constructive feedback to teaching staff
* Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive learning environment
* Gain hands-on classroom experience while supporting student progress and wellbeing

What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people in the UK (essential), such as in schools, clubs, sports coaching, or youth organisations
* A degree or strong academic background
* Confidence in independently leading and managing a classroom
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to support the wider school community
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
