Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Year 5 Primary School – Melton We are currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 class at a welcoming primary school in Melton. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, proactive TA who enjoys working with Key Stage 2 pupils and can commit to a full-time role. The Role: Full-time position, Monday to Friday Supporting pupils within a Year 5 classroom Working alongside the class teacher to support learning, behaviour, and engagement Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups as required Contributing positively to the wider school environment The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (KS2 experience desirable) Be confident supporting learning at Year 5 level Be patient, adaptable, and nurturing, with a positive approach to behaviour support Be able to travel/drive, as reliability and punctuality are essential Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (desirable but not essential) Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children The School Offers: A supportive and friendly staff team Well-behaved, engaged pupils Clear routines and expectations Ongoing support throughout the placement Start: ASAP Location: Melton All applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
