A high-growth, Private Equity-backed global technology business is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to support a number of high-profile strategic initiatives during a key phase of growth and international expansion.
Backed by a leading PE investor, the business has grown significantly both organically and through acquisition, with continued expansion across international markets.. Following sustained year-on-year growth, the leadership team is now evaluating a number of strategic pathways for the next phase of the business, including international expansion, investment prioritisation, M&A activity and longer-term exit optionality.
Working closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership team, this role will support a range of board-level strategic projects, helping shape the long-term direction of the business through detailed analysis, modelling and commercial insight.
This is not a traditional FP&A role. The position sits at the intersection of strategic finance, value creation, commercial analysis and corporate strategy within a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of strategic finance and value creation projects across the business
* Build detailed financial models to evaluate strategic scenarios, market opportunities and investment cases
* Support analysis relating to international expansion, market entry and acquisition opportunities
* Assist with board and investment committee materials, including commercial analysis and strategic recommendations
* Work across multiple concurrent projects, supporting senior stakeholders with financial and strategic insight
* Partner closely with FP&A, finance leadership and commercial teams to support strategic decision-making
* Support strategic planning exercises and long-term business modelling
* Deliver ad hoc commercial and financial analysis to support executive-level decision making
* Contribute to wider discussions around growth strategy, capital allocation and future business direction
Candidate Profile
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or equivalent
* Strong strategic finance, transaction services, corporate finance, consulting or commercial finance background
* Experience operating within Private Equity-backed, high-growth or international businesses
* Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
* Comfortable working in ambiguity and across evolving strategic projects
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present analysis to senior stakeholders
* Experience supporting board-level or investor-related work is highly desirable
* Commercially minded with strong problem-solving capability
