This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Transport Planner to work on a diverse range of development planning projects, including Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and technical reports, while supporting the growth of the new Birmingham office.
Transport Planner Position Overview
1. Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
2. Undertake junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
3. Liaise with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities
4. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
5. Check and review work prepared by junior team members
6. Support and mentor junior staff, promoting continuous technical development
7. Assist with site appraisals, survey design, and report preparation
8. Contribute to the growth and development of the new Birmingham office
