Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Key Responsibilities
* Client interface, technical direction, budgetary control and day‑to‑day management of junior engineers.
* Management of relationships with key clients and contacts across the business, including liaison and development.
* Project management within time, cost and quality constraints and standards.
* Day‑to‑day work of the team and monitoring of compliance and KPIs.
* Business development, including preparation of tender submissions, estimating, pricing and delivery against work targets.
* Collaborate with the project team to deliver quality services to clients.
* Ensure all geotechnical designs are in accordance with set standards and recommendations are robust, value‑based and commissionable.
* Deliver designs on time and ensure they meet the client’s brief.
* Monitor processes and results to ensure compliance with safety, legal, ethical and regulatory requirements.
Experience & Qualifications
* 6+ years’ experience in Geotechnical design.
* Chartered status preferred or working towards Chartered Engineer qualification.
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
* Deep understanding of Civil/Geotechnical engineering principles.
* Ability to understand complex problems and devise innovative solutions.
* Experienced in report writing and presentation.
* Excellent communication with clients, colleagues and external agencies.
* Adheres to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health & Safety regulations.
* Professional representation of Ayesa and development of effective client relationships.
