The Role As a DevOps Engineer, youll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Youll work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable software delivery. Were hiring at both Mid-Level and Senior levels responsibilities and expectations will scale with experience. Key Responsibilities Mid-Level DevOps Engineer Support the design, implementation, and management of Azure cloud infrastructure. Maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Contribute to infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or ARM templates. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across development and production environments. Implement and support automated testing and deployment processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of software updates. Participate in on-call support on a rotational basis. Senior DevOps Engineer (in addition to above) Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our cloud infrastructure strategy. Drive best practices for automation, observability, and security within DevOps. Mentor and coach junior team members, supporting their technical growth. Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve operational efficiency. Champion continuous improvement across our delivery pipelines and processes. Key Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role (3 years for Mid-Level, 5 years for Senior). Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.). Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates). Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python). Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus). Understanding of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments. Desirable Experience within SaaS or FinTech environments. Knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, and firewalls. Exposure to microservices and distributed systems. Experience working within agile development teams. Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305). This role offers a quick 2 stage interview process.
