Job Title: Academy Apprentice Coach
Reporting to: Head of Education (Notts County Academy) / Head of Coaching and Development (Notts County Academy)
Contract: Apprenticeship
Hours of work: 30 hours per Week
Location: Meadow Lane Stadium and Training Venues

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two full-time Apprentice Coaches to join our Category 3 Academy and contribute to working across a range of Notts County FC and Notts County Foundation Programmes. As an apprentice coach you will deliver coaching sessions in primary schools (both in school and Extracurricular activity), in the pre-academy and across a range of different community sessions, alongside receiving support through our Academy Coach Development Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform key administrative tasks related to the role – working with Notts County Foundation
* Coordinate with Notts County Foundation and Club Staff regarding the Primary School programme.
* Direct players to FSM First Kicks and identify talented players for the Pre-Academy.
* Serve as the main point of contact for schools and teachers.
* Actively ensure the safeguarding of all players in the First Kicks programme
* Support in the development of the Club's EDI initiatives and positively promoting our EDI practices across Notts County Football Club, Academy and Foundation.
* Plan and deliver the Academy's First Kicks programme.
Knowledge and Experience:
* FA Introduction to Coaching (or working towards)
* BTEC Level 3 in Sports Coaching
* FA Introduction to First Aid in Football (or working towards)
* Completion of the FA Safeguarding Children course
* Valid FA DBS or willingness to undertake a DBS check before starting the role
* FA EE playmaker qualification (or working towards)
