We are currently assisting a well-established Accountancy firm based in Devon and Somerset looking for a Farm Business Consultant.
This is an exciting role with flexibility to be based in one of their offices across the region.
Working alongside experienced advisors as well as their in-house rural teams to provide in-depth advice to farm businesses. You will be given the opportunity to grow your knowledge and gain further experience within the sector as well as get hands-on and develop your agricultural knowledge and business skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Working directly with framers growing their business, through analysis, long-term financial planning.
Assisting farming business with budgeting, financial forecasting, understanding their current financial position.
Providing technical dairy advice to clients, alongside independent nutrition advice and guidance.
Preforming fertility reviews and forage management support.
Providing practical solutions to issues and challenges they are facing, alongside assisting them to achieve their long-term ambitions for their business.
What were looking for?
Degree in Agriculture or related qualification.
Practical agricultural experience.
Experience in commercial.
Be able to build trusted relationships with clients.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
A drive to develop a career in agricultural consultancy.
Ability to present clear and precises, practical advice and analysis to clients.
