Applications are invited for the above position, which combines Acute Internal Medicine and General (Internal) Medicine in Perth Royal Infirmary. This is a fixed term position for 11 months from date of start. We are looking for a new colleague to help us deliver excellent medical care to our vibrant District General Hospital. Perth Royal Infirmary has a 1 in 12 Acute Medical Receiving rota which includes weekend and overnight on-call. In addition, the successful applicant will take part in postgraduate training and education along with opportunities to collaborate in research, and quality improvement. The successful applicant will contribute to inpatient General Internal Medicine inpatients on a one in four basis in Perth Royal Infirmary. This is delivered as 2 weeks G(I)M 'hot' blocks. Candidates should possess MRCP and be on the GMC Specialist Register in General Internal Medicine or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCT or CESR (CP) at the time of interview for the post.
