Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on great service. Duties
* Assist in overseeing daily operations within the restaurant or hospitality setting, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
* Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices to enhance team performance.
* Manage kitchen operations, including food production and safety protocols, to ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and implement culinary innovations that align with customer preferences.
* Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership skills.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of hospitality is maintained at all times.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to support kitchen operations.
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food, wine and cocktails.
* Experience of Social media an added advantage to develop the business.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Previous experience in bar management or barista roles is advantageous.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
