Cover Supervisor - Supply Work Worksop
Tradewind recruitment agency working in partnership with secondary schools across Sheffield and the surrounding areas. Due to increasing demand, we are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in education and want flexibility, variety, and valuable classroom experience without the full pressures of a permanent teaching role.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
Support pupils to stay on task and engaged with their work

What We're Looking For
Experience working with young people (education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
Confidence managing a classroom environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
