Overview
Teaching Personnel is seeking flexible and dependable Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools in Wimborne. Schools require staff who can confidently step into short-notice cover while maintaining positive, well-supported learning environments.
Role Responsibilities
• Provide in-class, small group, and 1:1 support
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
• Support behaviour management and pupil engagement
• Adapt quickly to different school routines and expectations
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies
Requirements
• Experience working with children or young people (school-based preferred)
• Strong communication and a calm, supportive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Good availability for short-notice supply
• Ability to work confidently across varied school settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
