HGV Technician - Swindon
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client’s team at their Swindon head office. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled motor trade professionals looking to advance their career within a reputable, family-run Commercial Vehicle Dealership group. The successful HGV Technician will work primarily on late or night shift patterns, with a highly competitive salary package and excellent benefits.

Fully negotiable salary depending on experience and shift worked
£25 bonus per late or night shift

Conducting high-quality service and maintenance work on HGVs, adhering to manufacturer time schedules
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle malfunctions efficiently and accurately
Supporting colleagues with technical issues and providing innovative solutions
Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, health & safety regulations
Documenting diagnosis outcomes, repairs, servicing, and safety inspections
Supporting the workshop team to achieve operational targets and maintain high standards of customer serviceRequirements:
IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is highly preferred
Several years of relevant experience as an HGV Technician
Enthusiastic, committed, and able to work effectively within a busy workshop environment
A good team player with a strong focus on quality workmanship
Motivated to meet team targets and deliver excellent customer satisfaction
An active HGV driving licence is advantageous but not essential
