A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer to join its busy Residential Property team in Macclesfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancer to manage their own caseload within a supportive and professional environment, with strong opportunities for progression.
The Role
You will manage a mixed residential conveyancing caseload with support where required, handling matters from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Handling mortgages, remortgages, and buy-to-let transactions
* Preparing contracts and reviewing title documentation
* Raising and responding to enquiries
* Carrying out searches and reporting to clients on results
* Preparing mortgage reports and completion packs
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
* Managing client expectations and maintaining regular communication
* Building and maintaining relationships with referrers
* Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with firm procedures
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
* Proven experience managing a caseload (with minimal supervision)
* Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process
* Excellent communication and client-care skills
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Professional, approachable, and commercially aware xsngvjr
