This SEMH School is a specialist setting dedicated to supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role
We are seeking a compassionate, resilient and skilled Interventionist to join our committed team. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils, teachers and support staff to deliver targeted interventions that promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, engagement with learning and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
*
Deliver planned one-to-one and small group interventions to support pupils’ emotional, social and behavioural development
*
Support pupils to engage positively with learning and develop coping strategies
*
Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals
*
Monitor, record and report on pupil progress and outcomes
*
Contribute to behaviour support plans and individual provision plans
*
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and act as a consistent role model
*
Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times where needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*
Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, behavioural needs or additional needs
*
A calm, patient and empathetic approach
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
The ability to manage challenging behaviour positively and confidently
*
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
*
Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
