Central Refractories and IMS are trusted suppliers of refractory materials, engineering solutions, and installation services to high-temperature industries including steel, foundry, cement, and incineration. We deliver technical expertise, responsive service, and high-performance products to customers across the UK.
We are currently recruiting for a Refractory Sales Manager based in Falkirk covering Scotland and the Northeast of England to drive new business development and grow relationships with existing accounts across our Central Refractories/IMS division. This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual with technical understanding of refractory products and their industrial applications.
You will engage directly with clients through site visits, inspections, and technical consultations, while also supporting office-based sales functions and contributing to long-term sales strategy development.
What you’ll be doing:
* Building and growing relationships with key industrial clients
* Conducting site visits and technical consultations
* Preparing tenders and technical proposals
* Shaping territory sales strategy and pricing
* Working closely with installation and engineering teams
What you'll bring:
* Sales experience in refractories or similar industrial sectors
* Technical knowledge of refractory products and their applications
* Strong commercial acumen and confident client management
* A proactive approach and a passion for problem-solving
* Comfort with site-based work and regional travel
