Delivery of scientific tasks within livestock production research projects. Responsibilities include literature reviews, preparing reports and protocols, recording scientific data, manual handling of livestock and agricultural equipment (outdoor activities), reviewing and analyzing data, and preparing scientific outputs such as papers and presentations.
Qualifications:
1. A PhD in agriculture, animal science, or a relevant biological science related to animals.
2. Or a degree or higher in agriculture, animal science, or a relevant biological science, with at least 2 years of research experience post-qualification.
Experience:
1. Proven experience conducting scientific studies involving animals and performing statistical analysis of results.
2. Experience presenting research findings to diverse audiences (e.g., farmers, academic audiences).
3. Experience in writing scientific papers related to animals, with at least one peer-reviewed paper as the first author (excluding conference papers).
