Weston Park Care Home is looking to recruit a part-time Laundry Assistants for day duties. The home has 102 beds for the elderly, and is split into 3 units. These units comprise of dementia and nursing clients.
Hours of work are 8am - 5pm x 4 days a week, working one weekend out of 2.
Good rate of pay depending on experience

Specific Duties Include:
* Washing and sorting residents laundry
* Ironing of residents clothes, and Homes linen
* Returning the clothes to the residents
* Ensuring that the linen is stored correctly on the unit
* Reports any defects faults or maintenance requirements to laundry equipment.
* Uses and stores cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
* Ensures adequate cleaning supplies are available at all times.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Operation of laundry equipment.
* COSHH / Health and Safety.
* Moving and handling
* Infection Control
