One of Northern Ireland’s largest public sector authorities located in Co. Armagh, with an estate that includes leisure facilities, parks, public buildings and offices, have an immediate requirement for an M&E Maintenance Supervisor.
Your new role
This is a contract position for a duration of months based in Craigavon and working at other locations throughout the area. The main purpose of the job is to deliver a high-level M&E maintenance service across this organisation's properties, effectively managing all relevant M&E resources and ensuring that works arepleted in accordance with set requirements and inpliance with all relevant Statutory Legislation.
You have responsibility for leading and supervising the building maintenance M&E team.
Some of the duties include:
1. Direct day to day supervision of M&E staff and external contractors; to include monitoring of work allocation and standard of service delivered, highlighting and addressing sub standards.
2. Daily decision-making on planning, prioritising, allocation and organising the M&E team and external contractors toplete a variety of planned and reactive M&E maintenance.
3. Carry out survey work, preparation of costing and progressing approved maintenance requests as necessary, ensuringpliance with all relevant Statutory Regulations.

What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for this position you must meet the following:BS 7671 18th Edition qualification 2382, City & Guilds or equivalent.AND ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:NVQ level 3 craft qualification C&G 2357 installing electro-technical systemsORC&G 2356 level 3 in electrical installationORC&G 236 electrical installation parts 1&2 or A&BA minimum of 5 years’ post apprentice/time served as an electrician within the Building Maintenance or Construction industry and working strictly to recognised regulations.Two years’ experience to include each of the following:-Providing technical support and assistance to other maintenance trades namely plumbing;Supervising and motivating staff teams; ANDCost estimating, ordering materials and equipment.

This role offers an immediate start working with a large public sector estates department for a 6-9 month period, which may extend or present the opportunity to be a permanent post.£35,745 per annum, pro rata.37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday am – pm and Friday – 34 Days annual leave including stat days.Paid weekly via BACS transfer.Business mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile.
