Job Purpose: Supporting a lively, happy, 5 year old sensory seeker little girl, who loves to jump, climb, and has special interests in Frozen and Trolls. The little girl does have a sensory processing disorder, autism, and is non verbal, but uses pecs, Makaton, and hand gestures to communicate. She can also suffer with migraines and cyclic vomiting, but they are well controlled at the moment. To begin with you will be required to work at the family's home, supporting with playtime and bedtime routines. The role will eventually involve taking her out to places of interest such as parks and soft play. Due to her lack of danger awareness, she will need constant supervision to ensure she is safe at all times.
