About the Role
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and proactive Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our team and help ensure a safe, happy, and inclusive lunchtime experience for all pupils.
As an MSA, you will supervise pupils during lunch breaks in the dining hall and playground, support positive play, encourage good manners, and help maintain a calm and friendly atmosphere.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is observant, and can respond confidently to situations as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise pupils during lunchtimes in the dining hall, classrooms, and outdoor play areas
Support children in developing positive social skills and friendships through safe play
Encourage healthy eating habits and assist younger pupils with meals when necessary
Monitor behaviour and intervene where appropriate, following school policies
Provide basic first aid where required (training can be provided)
Communicate with teaching staff if concerns arise
