Shaw healthcare is looking for a Residential Team Leader to join the team at Glebe House. You will be part of a team committed to making a difference in the lives of those we care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users, the same standard we would expect for our own family members. You will be using the latest care technology to spend more time with the service users you care for. Glebe House has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care.
As a Team Leader, you’ll need previous experience working with older people in residential care. You should be flexible, patient, caring, organised, and great with people. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are essential, as is having completed or working towards your QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Your responsibilities will include building strong relationships with family and friends, keeping healthcare professionals informed, and updating your Line Manager on residents’ needs and progress. As a team player, you can easily follow guidelines and policies and will have good writing skills for care plans.
We will provide you with full training, including our leadership programme, which can support your development and opportunities for progression within Shaw.
Salary: £14.70 per hour
Working Hours: Bank Contract
