Benefits Competitive salary: £30,000.00 - £35,000.00 per year Full-time, Permanent Hours: 9-5.20pm ( no weekends) Company pension scheme Opportunity to work with a supportive and professional team A chance to make a real impact in a well-established property management company In-person work environment in the heart of York city centre Responsibilities As a Senior Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of a diverse portfolio of residential properties. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing a dedicated portfolio of properties with support from finance and administration teams. Coordinating property repairs and maintenance, liaising with approved contractors, and ensuring high-quality standards. Building and maintaining strong relationships with residents and clients, addressing their needs and concerns. Overseeing major works and Section 20 consultations, providing technical guidance to the team. Attending AGMs and Directors’ meetings, supporting Property Managers as required. Ensuring compliance with all necessary certifications, including Fire Risk Assessments, Health & Safety Risk Assessments, and Lift Inspections. Drafting service charge budgets and managing annual expenditure. Assisting the Head of Property Management with technical and legal queries. Qualifications To excel in this role, you will need: Proven experience in property management, with a strong understanding of block management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships. A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. A full UK Driving Licence (required).
