Position Overview: Responsible for the design, development, verification, and validation, along with through-life technical support of software and ICT for test solutions.
Main Duties:
* Design of test solution software, including control and automation of test systems.
* Ensure the quality of test software and provide leadership to junior engineers.
* Develop robust and reliable test solutions from system requirements.
* Implement detailed technical items with an understanding of system-level considerations.
* Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers on design and interfaces.
* Produce and maintain high-quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage configuration and change control of software and documentation.
* Develop and maintain test software and procedures.
* Uphold design standards and methodologies as Design Authority.
* Monitor progress and support end-users with technical queries.
* Support compliance with Health and Safety legislation and company policies.
* Lead test engineering software activities for small to medium programs.
* Contribute to resource planning and risk management.

Knowledge & Experience:
