Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a complete range of conventional commodity fertilizers, specialty fertilizers, soil conditioning products, animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and Dairy Hygiene products. Part of Groupe Roullier, our R&D takes place at our Global Innovation Center in St. Malo. We are passionate about delivering superior technical advice on farm, which, combined with our quality products, supports our growth.
We have a vacancy for a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager in Northern Ireland. The role involves developing long-term customer relationships, connecting with industry stakeholders, and implementing strategic sales plans. Reporting to the Speciality Business Commercial Manager, responsibilities include:
1. Developing and executing regional sales and customer service strategies.
2. Presenting our product range to meet regional needs and opportunities.
3. Optimizing distribution, operations, and costs.
4. Managing relationships with trade customers, including product support and credit control.
5. Overseeing sales administration policies.
6. Supporting and managing the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
7. Motivating the team to maximize sales and service quality.
8. Promoting company policies on HR, health and safety, pricing, and terms.
9. Contributing to overall company development through active participation in management teams.
Requirements:
* Degree in Agriculture and/or Business.
* Proven experience as a sales manager or representative with target achievement.
* Technical knowledge of the Agri-sector.
* Strong commercial skills and relationship management experience at trade and farm levels.
* Leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Problem-solving and team interaction skills.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Valid driver's license.

* Competitive salary (£45,000 - £55,000) plus performance bonus.
