We are looking for a Senior HRBP to join us in Abingdon on a fixed term (maternity cover) contract.
The HR Business Partner will proactively partner with managers and employees in all aspects of the delivery of the people agenda.
As a true business partner they will provide coaching and guidance to business leaders in order to enable them to successfully drive the engagement and performance of their functions and teams.
They will also proactively support in all aspects of the employee life cycle.
What You Will Do:
1. Proactively build relationships at all levels in the organisation and be the key point of contact on all HR Business Partner issues
2. Effectively resolve employee relations issues within all legal and compliance guidelines and statutes
3. Provide coaching and guidance to business leaders at all levels on employee life cycle issues - including annual people plans, job levelling, talent management, performance improvement initiatives, retention management and succession planning
4. Working with the HR Leader, develop and implement HR initiatives in alignment with the business strategy and the People & Culture Strategy
5. Implement change management initiatives to advance organizational performance within a global matrixed environment
6. Work with HR Leader in relation to retention strategies with a key focus on reward and great place to work initiatives (including employee wellbeing)
7. Develop annual workforce plans and hiring strategies for the divisions and ensure that by working with the hiring teams the highest quality of talent is brought into the organisation
8. Support leadership teams in the design and flex of their organisational structures with great change management and communication to ensure we meet the needs of a fast growth business
Basic Qualifications:
9. Bachelor degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field
10. Minimum 6+ years HR experience as HR Business Partner (ideally within a large company setting)
11. Experience of having operated within HR Operations (ie HR co-ordinator or equivalent) including reward and payroll
12. Exposure and ability in data analysis
13. strong employment law acumen
14. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships through all levels of the organization including executives, business partners, line operations and peers, as well as experience operating in a global matrix environment
Preferred Qualifications:
15. Extremely high energy individual willing to get involved in all aspects of the employee life cycle at both a business partner and an operational level
16. Ability to work autonomously and deliver against agreed commitments and deadlines
17. Proven track record in a fast-paced environment –working on multiple projects with constantly changing priorities and deadlines
18. Proactive and solution oriented
19. Ability to understand the bigger picture (strategic mindset) coupled with high attention to detail
20. self-sufficient in the usage of relevent HR tools such as MyWorkday and respective local tools
