Job title: Senior Systems Engineer

We’re supporting an exciting and fast-growing space technology business that is looking to bring in a Senior Systems Engineer to support the development of next-generation spacecraft and satellite systems.
This is a great opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering team working across the full system lifecycle on genuinely cutting-edge missions within the space sector.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in defining, managing, and delivering complex systems engineering activities across spacecraft programmes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across software, hardware, avionics, RF, and mission operations.
Responsibilities will include:
* Requirements capture and management
* System architecture and design activities
* Verification & validation planning
* Technical trade-off studies
* Supporting integration and testing activities
* Stakeholder and customer interaction
* Supporting full lifecycle delivery of spacecraft systems
What They’re Looking For
* Experience working within Systems Engineering environments
* Background within space, aerospace, defence, or highly regulated engineering sectors
* Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle
* Experience with requirements management tools
* Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
* Spacecraft or satellite experience
* Ground systems, RF, avionics, or mission systems exposure
* Experience working within fast-paced engineering programmes
