As a Reception Supervisor, you’ll support the Front of House Manager in leading the front office team, ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional welcome and a seamless experience throughout their stay. What You’ll Do You’ll be responsible for: Supervising the day-to-day front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs. Providing hands-on support during busy periods while leading by example. Coaching and mentoring the reception team to deliver consistent, high-quality service. Handling escalated guest queries or concerns promptly and professionally. Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and operations. Managing shift handovers, guest billing, and accurate financial reporting. Maintaining a well-presented, efficient, and welcoming front-of-house environment. Upholding compliance with hotel policies and health & safety standards. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for an approachable, guest-focused leader with a flair for organisation and an eye for detail. You’ll have: Proven experience in a front office or guest service role, ideally within hospitality. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team. A natural ability to remain calm under pressure while solving problems with confidence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of hotel booking and PMS systems (training provided if required). Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
