Job Description
3. Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments and adherence to credit terms.
4. Oversee credit checks and assess creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
5. Resolve payment discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
6. Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and payment statuses.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to address credit-related issues effectively.
8. Handle escalated cases and assist in recovery of overdue accounts.
9. Support the Accounting & Finance department with credit control processes.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. Experience in credit control or a similar role within the FMCG industry.
12. Strong analytical and numerical skills to manage financial data.
13. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
14. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
15. Experience with big retailers such as Aldi & Lidl are desirable.
16. An organised approach to handle multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
17. Knowledge of credit policies and industry regulations.
