Our expanding Medical Imaging Department is looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Band 3 Slot Administrator to help oversee the smooth running of our diagnostic appointment pathways.
About the Role
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Band 3 Booking Clerk, you will play a key part in coordinating and monitoring appointment activity across a specialist imaging modality, such as MRI, CT, or Ultrasound. While this role does not include direct line management, you will act as a knowledgeable point of contact within the admin team, supporting colleagues and ensuring the department runs efficiently day‑to‑day.
This is an ideal position for someone experienced in complex bookings who is ready to take on more responsibility and develop their leadership skills.
We’re seeking someone who is:
* Confident and compassionate when speaking with patients
* Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities
* Accurate, organised, and committed to confidentiality
* A team player with a positive, solution‑focused attitude
* Comfortable using IT systems and learning new processes
* Is an experienced administrator
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. 5 days per week with various shift patterns between the hours of 7.30am and 8pm. This will include occasional weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. The majority of the shifts will be either 8am until 4pm, or 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday
