We’re supporting a growing, highly respected organisation in the safety-critical sector to find an experienced Executive Assistant & Office Manager to support their UK Managing Director and wider team. The Role
This is a dual role combining high-level EA support with full responsibility for the smooth running of a busy Head Office. You’ll act as a true right hand to the Managing Director, ensuring their time is optimised and priorities are managed, while also creating a professional, welcoming and well-organised office environment for the wider team and visiting stakeholders.
You’ll be central to how the business operates day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities
* Full Executive Assistant support to the Managing Director including diary, inbox, travel and meeting coordination
* Acting as a gatekeeper and ensuring priorities are effectively managed
* Overseeing the day-to-day running of the office and creating a positive working environment
* First point of contact for internal queries relating to office, travel and events
* Managing relationships with suppliers, building management and external partners
* Coordinating customer visits and ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
* Organising internal meetings, events and external venues
* Supporting recruitment and onboarding, helping to create a strong first impression
* Managing office supplies, post and logistics
* Supporting quality processes and documentation where required
* Ownership of office Health & Safety and risk management processes
* Supporting security vetting processes (BPSS)
About You
* Proven experience as an Executive Assistant at senior level
* Previous Office Management experience
* Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
* Confident, approachable and able to build relationships quickly
* Proactive and solutions-focused in your approach
* Strong communication skills with a professional, polished manner
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally
