About Our Client
Our client is a UK-based supplier within the wholesale distribution sector servicing a diverse clientele across the retail and housing sector. Part of a larger group they benefit from an extensive network enhancing its capabilities and service offerings.
Job Description
Duties Include:
* Support the learning and development manager with assessing both individual and organisational learning and development needs, by identifying skill gaps and future learning requirements using training and learning needs analysis
* Working alongside subject matter experts to design and conduct learning, using effective methods in the learning toolkit to provide a blended approach to learning
* Development and implement agreed training plans, schedules and calendars in line with learning and development strategy and frameworks
* Work closely with HR to conduct a successful on-boarding and induction programmes for new employees across the organisation
* Build and maintain long term collaborative relationships across the business, providing support and consultation on learning and development interventions
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programmes, improving and updating where necessary
* Maintain own continuous professional development, demonstrating a positive approach to your professional knowledge, skills and experience
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be passionate about learning and development and be confident delivering learning and development solutions across a variety of business functions. Whilst experience in an advisor level position is not essential, the individual will understand adult learning and motivational theories and be able to apply them to a variety of L&D methods.
CIPD Level 3 or above is essential for this role, as is a sound understanding of Microsoft 360 and the ability to create and execute plans for employee development, succession planning and leadership development.
The post holder must hold a driving licence as travel to different sites may be required, however access to a pool car will be allocated on days that you have to travel
