About the Role
Exciting times are ahead! As we expand our production lines, we are on the lookout for Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in supporting both planned and reactive maintenance at our Coleraine manufacturing site, working a rotating 12-hour shift pattern that includes days, nights, and weekends.
What Will I Be Doing?
Your contributions will be vital to our success. Here’s what you can expect:
* Prioritizing safety by adhering to Health and Safety Policies.
* Handling Electrical and Mechanical maintenance, including preventative measures and troubleshooting breakdowns.
* Ensuring compliance with mandatory Health & Safety obligations during maintenance activities.
* Collaborating with Production shift managers and teams to meet plant efficiency targets.
* Upholding food safety standards during all maintenance tasks.
* Managing material stock levels and booking out spare parts.
* Overseeing contractors while they are on-site.
* Maintaining high housekeeping standards in all engineering areas.
* Participating in new installations and projects as needed.
* Developing and updating work instruction sheets and risk assessments.

Key Qualifications Include:
* Time-served multi-skilled engineer with both mechanical and electrical expertise.
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline (e.g., BTEC National Certificate/Diploma).
* Ability to quickly identify root causes of efficiency issues and propose effective solutions.
* Proficiency in computer applications.
* Logical, organized, and detail-oriented.
* Strong communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices.
