You will be responsible for assembling lighting products, including tasks such as using hand tools and power tools, soldering, and performing mechanical assembly. The technician will also be involved in quality control to ensure all products meet the company's high standards.
Responsibilities
 * Assemble lighting products using hand tools and power tools
 * Perform soldering and mechanical assembly as part of the production process
 * Follow engineering assembly drawings and instructions
 * Carry out quality control checks to ensure product quality
 * Adhere to safety and work procedures
Qualifications / Key Skills
 * Previous experience gained within a manufacturing environment
 * Must be able to work to engineering assembly drawings and instructions
 * Proficiency in the use of hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys as well as electric power tools
 * Experience with soldering and mechanical assembly
 * Skills in performing quality control checks
 * Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
 * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 * Prior experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is a plus
Hours
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday (7.00am to 4.00pm). Friday (7.00am to 11.15am)
Overtime
5 to 10 hours of overtime availble per week
