Overview
Specialist Speech and Language Therapist role at TieTalent. Location: Glebedale School – Staffordshire ST4 3AY. Salary: Up to £53,200 pro rata (dependent on experience). Hours: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (to be confirmed). Contract: Permanent (term time only, or flexibility around a full-time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances).
Join a multidisciplinary clinical team within an education setting to deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessments and interventions for pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent, or have SEMH needs. You will work in accordance with the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working to guide practice in education settings.
Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke SLT assessment and intervention to pupils in an education setting, collaborating with education teams to support pupil independence and outcomes.
* Work within the standards provided by the OFG SLT Ways of Working to clarify roles and responsibilities.
* Contribute to the development of an enhanced SLT offer by supporting apprentices, students and therapy assistants where appropriate.
* Participate in research projects, special interest groups, and a wider SLT network for training and development where available.
* Engage in continued professional development with a £2,000 training allowance available after probation to tailor role-specific training.
