The Job Summary: Wrightbus, a fast-moving company that has experienced considerable growth in the last year, and we are looking for a (Supplier Quality Assurance) Supplier Performance Manager to lead a team who regulate, control and improve suppliers' quality performance. Minimising the impact and cost of poor quality on Production, service teams and customers. The Role: Control assessment of new suppliers and monitor critical ones Ensure timely resolution of part-related issues during inspection/assembly per documented process Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions for shortcomings Support recharge process when supplier issues affect production/supply Check and coach quality of completed 8Ds Reduce reject quantities, reject costs, R2s, and indirect costs from poor supplier quality Lead and coach critical improvement projects Implement all relevant Quality Management System processes and procedures Communicate internally and externally on quality matters Update in-house systems and procedures to meet external provider requirements Conduct supplier audits per schedule and manage corrective actions Supervise quality personnel resolving internal/external material concerns Establish, update, and implement quality control documentation for bought-in materials Ensure rectification/rework meets agreed standards Collaborate with QA/QC to reduce non-conforming supplier material impact Report against agreed objectives and KPIs The Requirements: Batchelor (Eng or Sc) degree Lead auditor qualified Minimum 8 years' experience in Quality role in a manufacturing industry Or Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality role in a in a highly regulated industry such as Automotive or Aerospace Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Structured problem solving methodologies (8D, PPS, DMAIC) Advanced Root cause methods Is/Is-Not, Cause- Effect analysis & and KJ Analysis Auditing skills Knowledge of Manufacturing processes, Inspection and test methods and best proactive relevant to scope of responsibility Data analysis skills including statistician methods Use of relevant computer systems (MS Office, SharePoint) Understanding of relevant quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 'Lean' Methodologies '5S' Methodology Proficient in defining, monitoring, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) for the quality team. Skilled at process mapping, design and continuous improvement Able to analyse facts, data, and trends to support quality improvement initiatives. Stakeholder management in Production driven business Knowledgeable about the principles and methods of continuous improvement and how to apply them in practice. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications for data entry, analysis, and presentation.
